Many called it one of the standout performances, wondering why the judges didn’t give Kinney a 10 grading. One fan expressed confusion regarding her score, “No critiques, no mistakes, all praises from the judges…soooo? [sic] Why not a 10?” Another viewer passionately asserted“THAT DESERVED A 10!!! WHAT??? [sic]”

One viewer also criticized the judges for their scoring decisions, “Not a single negative note for chandler and brandon so where did the 1 point come off from, judges? [sic]” Another fan wondered“So they gave Chandler zero criticism and gave her nothing to work on for the next week but still didn’t give her a 10? Okay.”

The sentiment of injustice echoed among fans, “Something about Chandler not getting one 10 tonight is not sitting right with me.” Another chimed in with a strong opinion, “Chandler the only one deserving of her score n [sic] deserved at least one 10 even sorry xoxo.”

Some viewers believed that Kinney dancing to her own song may have influenced her not receiving a perfect 10. One fan expressed“Honestly it was her best dance…but the Disney star dancing to her own Disney song on Disney night…AND [sic] getting the highest scores 🤭🤭🤭.” Another fan questioned the depth of the performance, “She did fantastic but is doing your own character really digging deeper?”

While these fans applauded Kinney’s effort, one commenter noted“Chandler killed that dance, the choreo was good. Did not like the music which made it not like a 10 moment for me. She did have lots of power and precision.”

Others, however, felt there was room for improvement, saying“I can see why Chandler got a 9. I just wish Brandon gave her a bit less Choreo so that he had more time to exaggerate and extend her arm work more. It felt like from the upper body she was a hair away from being off time because there was too much content.”

Kinney had received tough feedback the week prior to this phenomenal performance. Therefore, she and Armstrong redeemed themselves with a noteworthy act. The song Kinney wowed fans with is from “Zombies 2,” her breakout film.

Kinney and Armstrong received a 27/30 score for their performance as a couple, with judge Carrie Ann praising them. She told Kinney, “I know it can be difficult sometimes to hear the things we say. I totally understand that, what makes me happy is when I’m proven wrong. That was a passionate, powerful performance, and I bet it felt amazing.”

One fan praised Parks, though with some reservations, “Awesome choreography, but not her best dance. She looks amazing though. Very fit! Dancing is hard work!” However, another wasn’t as forgiving, declaring“Not the best dance at all. Maybe it was just me, but I didn’t feel much energy.”

Some viewers felt Parks got a great score only because she was paired with Chmerkovskiy. A fan pointed this out, “The judges are giving her 8’s because of Val. No way does she deserve the same scores as Joey, Chandler, Stephen or Jenn.”

Another viewer criticized Parks’ dancing, “Because she was really bad tonight. Barely moved in the Jazz dance and looked lost in the team dance.” “She did look lost in the team dance you’re right,” a viewer concurred. A fan with similar views bluntly expressed“She cannot dance 😪😥 sorry.”
