A social worker arrived with hospital security.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe child is under emergency protective supervision,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0she said.\u00a0\u201cYou will have no contact with her or the infants without authorization.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Marsh faced Grant.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you truly came because you care, why did you ask about testing before asking how the boys were doing?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

His jaw tightened.<\/p>\n

He walked away without once asking to see his sons more closely.<\/p>\n

The Truth Beneath the Quilt<\/h1>\n
